Let me start by saying the facilities were clean and the decor was beautiful. The location is wonderfully secluded. I just had the feeling that due to CoVid, the facility was very understaffed. We stayed 4 nights and never saw housekeeping once. I discovered later that I needed to call to ask for any “extra” service, which wasn’t considered extra pre-pandemic. We were seated in both restaurants several times and had the feeling that the staff was overwhelmed. I can’t prove it, but I think we were forgotten once, and when our food was brought to us, the order was wrong. We took the food though, knowing that we would have to wait another 20 -30 minutes to get to eat. We felt bad about having to ask for extra condiments, etc. the waitstaff that was there, however, were very pleasant under the circumstances. Most of the activities at the resort cost an extra $95 per person, so we swam for free or left campus during the day, and did the free s’mores at the fire pit at night. Self-Parking was $18 per night. We paid over $400w/tip for a couples massage. Paying the money wouldn’t have been an issue if the service would have been on par with what we paid. It seems that the level of service has dropped but the costs to stay has not. I’ll try again in a few years....maybe the effects of the pandemic will have lessened.
